Welcome to Lone Oak First Baptist Church. We are excited you chose to visit us and hope you will find a place to belong. We invite you to explore the opportunities available for you and your entire family. If there are questions not answered on our web site, please call us. You may also visit our Connection Center to speak to our staff after each Sunday morning service.
Take a few minutes to review the topics below and enjoy your visit.
Plan Your Visit
Lone Oak First Baptist Church is located on US Highway 45, on the south side of Lone Oak. If you need directions, view our “Where Are We” page.
Guests are invited to use our guest parking in the front of our north foyer entrance, a short walk from the main foyer entrance. If needed, handicap parking is located near every entrance. Come inside to find our Connection Center in the main foyer and friendly faces eager to help in any way.
If you desire preschool childcare, ask directions to our preschool area located in the north C hallway. Details on preschool programs may be found in the Preschool section under the Ministries tab in the menu.
Taking a few weeks to get acquainted is certainly a good idea, but we hope at some point you will participate in a Life Group. Life Groups are a great way to meet friends and become an active member of our church family. When that time comes, feel free to talk to our team, or review the various Ministries from our site menu to find the right opportunity for you and your family.
How To Join
You certainly do not need to be a member of our church to worship and fellowship with us. We welcome and invite everyone. If you are seeking a church home, you may want to make multiple visits and check out various classes and activities before making a decision on what plans God has for your family. When that time comes, there are three methods to request membership:
1) By Profession of Faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior and to follow Him in Baptism.
2) By transfer of a membership in another Southern Baptist Church.
3) By a Statement of Faith that you have previously made a public profession of faith.
You can find further information on this process in our Become A Member page.
Questions? You can always call the church office and speak with any of our staff by phone to make an appointment to visit.
You are invited to meet our Ministers at the end of each Sunday Morning Worship service at the Connection Center by the Prayer Tower.
We would like for all our guests to find and complete the Connection Card, found in the weekly bulletin, on each visit no matter how many or how often. This gives us a record of your visit and an opportunity for us to contact you if you so desire.
