Women's Minstry
Our desire is to create avenues for women to grow in Christ and also grow in relationship with other women of the church. The Women’s Ministry is for all ages, marital statuses, backgrounds, and careers. Join us as we “do life together”. We look forward to connecting with you!
Lone Oak FBC Women’s Ministry offers a variety of events throughout the year to encourage fellowship with other women in the church. These and many more exciting opportunities are planned for the coming months. Some may require registration.
Women’s Bible Studies: We also offer a variety of Equip groups and discipleship opportunities for women throughout the year.
Women on Mission is ongoing missions involvement for women of all ages which extends across the globe. Women around the world meet to learn about missions, pray for missions, give to missions, and participate in the work of missions locally and internationally. Ruth Thomas Women on Mission meets the first Monday of each month at 2:00 PM in Room A100. Join us as we learn more about how God is impacting the world through missions and how we can participate through living a missions lifestyle.
Men's Ministry
At Lone Oak FBC, we biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and in their places of business. The Men’s Ministry develops men in Christian living to make a positive impact for this generation and those to come. Our men are actively engaged in all aspects of our church family, bringing a multitude of talents to bear ministering, discipling, and teaching others as Christ has led us.
MEN’S LIFE GROUPS
We believe that being connected in a Life Group is critical to your spiritual growth. In addition to normal adult Life Groups, we also have men’s-only groups that meet to study God’s Word and fellowship together.
MEN’S D-GROUPS
Discipleship Group, or a “D-Group” is a gender specific, closed group of 3-5 believers who meet together weekly for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation.
Making disciples in a D-Group is the second step because it flows out of Life Groups. Life Groups are the “fishing ponds” for D-Groups. As people form friendships and bonds in Life Groups, handfuls of them will decide to take the next step and begin a discipleship journey together in a D-Group.
If you would like to be in a D-Group, the first step is to join a Life Group. If you are currently in a Life Group and desire to be in a D-Group, talk to your Life Group leader.
