Hank Garner

“For I am convinced that He who began a good work in you will see it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
Hank Garner joined the Lone Oak FBC team as Executive Pastor in September 2018. Originally from Sandersville, Georgia, he graduated from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science while serving on a church staff in Atlanta. He met his wife, Dawn, while they were both serving on the staff of a church in Southwest Florida, and they were married in 2008. He and Dawn served in a church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and then moved to Columbia, Tennessee, where Hank was an Executive Pastor for seven years before coming to Lone Oak. Hank also holds a M.B.A. from Liberty University and a Master of Arts in Church Leadership from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. As “XP,” Hank has oversight and leadership of the day-to-day operations of the church, serving as the pastor’s “right-hand man” in making sure that the church honors the Lord and the stewardship of His people in all of the church’s affairs. He enjoys Georgia Bulldogs football, golf (when he has time to play), and helping people discover what the Lord has called them to do. Hank and Dawn have three children: Ashlyn, Ainsley, and Trey.
