“A heart for worship.” – this statement encompasses, Mark Swadley. Mark came to Lone Oak FBC in April, 2007. He is the third generation of ministers in his family and “loves leading God’s people in heart-felt worship and using a variety of musical styles to glorify God and exalt Jesus.” Worship through music has been Mark’s God-given passion for more than 35 years. God has graciously used this passion, not only in churches in Missouri, Indiana, and Kentucky, but also through international mission trips to Malawi, Tanzania, Uruguay, Mexico, Peru, and Korea. Mark graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri and went onto graduate from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Here he met his wife, Beth, and they were married in 1991. Mark and Beth have two daughters, Christina and Olivia. Mark enjoys all kinds of games and spending time with his family.
