“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
Student ministry is not for the faint at heart. Patrick Greer knows the importance of sharing truth to a generation of students growing up in a world of relativism. “I love challenging students to live out the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel and seeing students grow deeper in their relationship with God.” Patrick is not new to western Kentucky, both he and his wife, Abby, grew up in Murray, Kentucky and graduated from Murray State University. After they were married they moved to Wheaton, Illinois outside of Chicago to follow God’s calling in youth ministry. Patrick served as a middle school youth minister for two years in Glen Ellyn, Illinois before joining Crossings Ministry in Louisville, Kentucky as their Director of Programming for over five years. In May, 2014 Patrick accepted the call to be the Minister of High School Students here at Lone Oak FBC. Patrick and Abby have been married since 2005 and have three sons; Maddox, Jonas, and Jack. Patrick loves sports of all kinds including, but not limited to: pheasant hunting with his dog, Zeke, hiking, mountain biking, and running. But most of all he enjoys spending time with his family.
